Rough Draft Peer Review




 Feedback from classmates:

- The fight scene was confusing; they understood that they had tension but not necessarily about what the fight was over.

- The lighting was very red

- The scene with Iris opening the door on the two arguing is confusing; inconsistent. The concept of them being locked in wasn't liked either as it was confusing.

- They really liked the screen captures of the new footage. 

My review

I didn't really like how the rough edit turned out. The colours turned up different on the TV that we presented them on than they did when I was editing it on my PC. I had no SFX or music, so there were a lot of gaps in consistency. I also didn't like how the lighting turned out on the footage. I didn't enjoy the conversation in the middle as it felt a bit awkward and forced, and some of the lines turned out to be comedic instead of serious. 

I think I will remake another rough edit when I get all of the new footage, as I think the storyline itself needs major work and the storyline we have shot so far doesn't have that much flexibility. 

 We also missed a line in the script of the fight scene which had important information. From my rough edit and also viewing what everyone else did with their footage, a reshoot is definitely necessary.
